Our very first post
This is the story of my life so far and a way for everyone who loves me to see what progress I'm making. I hope you come and visit me often!
My special day
Today I was baptized at St. Ann's Church. It was a small ceremony and I was the guest of honor. I know my family was very happy that I was able to be baptized before my surgery. Oh, and my mama picked out the ridiculous suit I was wearing. My dad and I had nothing to do with it!

- My name is Liam Keith and I was born with down syndrome and a heart that was partially fixed-we'll get the rest of the job finished at a future date. I was welcomed with love and have lots of family and friends. My baby sister Emma was born this past October and she's been fun to have around. My favorite things these days are climbing over and on top of anything I can, elmo, and swim lessons!
Mom & Dad (pre-me)
My mom and dad love me so much! They even bought me a house when they found out they were having me! My dad works with computers and my mom does social work, but for now, she is home taking care of me. They keep telling me about all the fun we are going to have together, and sometimes my mom cracks up when she looks at my dad holding me. I guess we look alike? I am excited to see for myself!
My dog Gus
I hear he was their "first" baby, but I have managed to take that title since I've arrived. I can't wait to get big enough to play with my buddy!
